Lowered Honda Civic is scraping exhaust backbox over speedbumps?
I have a 1998 Honda Civic which is lowered 40mm and 15" wheels but the exhaust backbox scrapes when I drive or reverse from my driveway. What can I do to not let this happen? Would 16 or 17" wheels raise the car a little and prevent backbox hitting the ground?
Raise the car back up to what the hugely experienced and qualified designers intended it to be.
Why not raise the car a little It doesn't have to be that low.
And now you've discovered why lowering a car is a dumb idea.
Well… WTF did you expect?
The obvious answer is to contact the Highways Authority and get them to alter every road in the country to suite your (modified) car.
