My car suddenly making lawn mower noise?
I drive my car everyday, at least an hour, maybe accelerate more than I should. I was driving and then stopped, had my car sit in one place for a few minutes turned it off then turned my car on a little bit after and now when you accelerate it sounds like a lawn mower or small semi, even at 20 mph. It seems to be coming from the left side of the motor around where you can check the oil. I have a 2006 Honda Civic.
Exhaust leak. Maybe a blown donut, cracked manifold or rusted out pipe.
Have you opened the hood to look?
You've either blown a hole in your exhaust system or the manifold has come loose.
It's probably an exhaust leak at the front exhaust pipe flex pipe.
- Who makes better lawn mowers Toro or Husqvarna? Who makes better push lawn mowers? I'm looking at the Toro model 20333 and a Husqvarna AWD model. Both have 190cc engines, but Toro would have a Briggs and Stratton motor and Husqvarna would have a Honda motor. Who makes better mowers? Should I go by engine brand or mower brand?
- New lawn mower pull cord will not pull out fully? Today we purchased a Troy-bolt TB130 160cc Honda engine push mower with an auto joke system. When we went to pull the start pull cord all it does it give a little slack and then completely locks up. If we slowly pull it wait for it to lock give a little back and slowly pull again more come out. What are wee doing wrong?
- Honda lawn mower starting, blade turning but not cutting grass? It's a Honda harmony 215 (hrb215) it starts on first pull, runs great, when you engage the blade it spins at full power, but when trying to cut grass it doesn't do anything. Doesn't even try to cut it. Have had it in knee high grass even and it doesn't do anything… Any ideas?
- Honda HR215 lawn mower won't start? I'm running my mower just fine when it starts sputtering and dies. I check the fuel, its empty so I top it off. I start cranking it and keep cranking it as I know fuel has to work its way thru the lines. At best it runs for maybe a second or two and dies. No the fuel valve is not off.
