Need slightly stiffer springs with minimal drop? Preferably 1.5 or less?
I have a 1995 honda civic and right now I bought the car with cut springs on tokico blues so its lowered about 2.5 inches. I'm moving to SF soon and need something where I won't die or scrape over bumps. I want some springs that give me a slight drop 1.5 or less and are a bit stiffer than stock so I can have some fun back home in wine country on some windy roads. I was thinking the Eibach Pro kit they advertise 1.6 inch drop in the front and 1.4 in the rear. Or the Tein H techs that advertise a 1.1 inch drop in front and.8 in the back. Or do you guys have any suggestions?
Eibach for sure. The only downside the life span for them is only about 40.000 miles.
- What will replacing my car with front(only) stiffer sway bars do? My truck is a 2003 Honda Element awd and Not to long from now, my mechanic told me at some point. That I need new struts and tires. However I'm also planning on replacing the stock front sway bar only, with the same sized but stiffer ones from st suspensions. What difference will repacking the front sway bars make on my trucks handling through curves and corners?
- Purchase dropped Honda Ruckus? Front wheel alignment is slightly off? I'm looking to purchase a Honda ruckus. I found a used one that was dropped several times. The steering alignment is off so you have to turn the handlebars slightly to the side to go straight. There's no damage to the body but I'm wondering if this is something that can easily be repaired or should I stay away. Overall it runs well and has a little over 4K miles.
- Why do motorbike brake shoes have springs that snap them shut? . When the brake is released? I've taken them off the rear drum brake of my Honda 250 scooter and the brake is much more powerful as I'm not wasting effort overcoming the inertia of the springs. What a silly invention in the first place!
- How to drop a 2000 honda lx without a lowering kit? I just want to know because I'm really cheap and don't feel like spending alot of money dropping it I think I can cut the springs if I'm mistaken.
