Tire pressure for honda civic 2015?
Will there be like an alert for low tire pressure for honda civic 2015 LE?
I don't know anything about cars
There's a sticker on the drivers door post, or on the back edge of the door, or on the inside of the glove compartment lid that tells you exactly what pressure to use. Be sure the tires are cold when you air them up (i.e. You haven't just been driving at high speed on the highway) and use a good quality gauge so you can get them all within 1 pound of each other.
And you had better start learning something about cars our your life of ownership is going to be fraught with untimely inconvenience and unexpected high expenses.
There may not be an alert for tire pressure. Turn the key to the on position without starting the engine. The dash will light up to let you know the dash lights are working. There should be one for engine oil pressure, water temperature, battery/ charging system, and if equipped, a light for the tire pressure monitoring system. This light will either be a picture of a tire or it will say something like TPMS. Some vehicles will tell you which tire is low, some just that there's a low one. Some also monitor the spare tire.
Yes but that is not a light to warn you that you need to check the tyre pressures. It is a light to alert you to an immediate dangerous situation.
Tyre pressures need to be checked regularly and do not wait for the IDIOT light to come on.
Hi No why should there be it is the owners responsibility to service his /her car with respect to tire pressures.
I don't know if you have the tire sensors (tpms system) on your car. Buy a cheap tire gauge at an auto parts store and check your tires once a month. The correct inflation pressure is on the tire spec label under the drivers door latch
The TPMS light will come on if a tire gets low- 7 psi different than the others, or lower than it should safely be. Look in your owner's manual for pictures and directions. Turn on the key but don't start the car and look at the gauges- all the warning lights will be on and you can see what they look like. That also shows you they all work.
You can't be this stupid.
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Honda Shadow Aero, Recommended tire pressure? I have a 2007 Honda Shadow Aero 750, What is the recommended tire pressure for this? It shows I have 10 psi in the front which looks to be impossible. Because it is not flat or even close when parked and when sat on. (I'm 300 pounds, I think it would droop. And the back says I have 25. How much do I need?
