Was the 2001 Honda Civic recalled?
My family has had this car forever. I drive it now and I was wondering if it was recalled for the defective air bags? I live in Ohio if that helps any?
It probably was because any type of car can be recalled.
The 2001 to 2005 Honda Civic have been recalled. Honda says the models include those ever registered in, or first sold in regions with high absolute humidity. Honda lists those areas as Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The 2002 to 2003 Civic has a recall no matter what state it is in. So from this list your 2001 Honda Civic is NOT listed as being recalled for the defective air bag.

- How much would it cost to change front struts/ shocks on a honda civic 2001? I think that it would cost no more than or a little over $300 (parts + labor). I went to one mechanic that gave me a quote for $575 ($240 for the parts, the alignment, and labor) lol… Which is ridiculous for a fairly old economy car.
- How much does Honda charge for ECM or software update on recalled vehicles such as 2005 Honda Civic? I have a check engine light on as I took it to an autoshop they said that there's a updated version on my vehicle that needs to be done otherwise it would not scan correctly due to its current version. They looked up the fault P0139 Code on 2005 honda civic and they said that there are recalls on this model. Which leads my CEL on and its probably a false reading.
- 2001 honda civic Fog lights stopped working? I installed fog lights on my car but I forgot to ziptie them to the car so the wiring got loose and burned on the engine. I tryed rewiring but I don't know what's wrong help please.
- 2001 honda civic check engine light goes on then turns off? I have a 2001 honda civic with high mileage. I just took it on for an oil change and put summer tires back on. A few days later the check engine light came on and then shut off and then came back on and goes on and off every few days. The car doesn't seem to be driving bad although it does seem to shake a little bit. What could this be?
