What is link adjusting and how do I do it?
I have a 2000 honda civic, and my thrid gear never goes in, and also makes a loud scratching noise, on the question I asked before this I got an answer telling me i needed link adjustment, I don't know what that is, can someone tell me what it is and how to do it?

The question should be do you have any linkage and are they adjustable. Some cars have the shifter mount directly on the top of the trans, I don't know if that is what you have or not. But if you do have linkage it would run from the shifter to the side of the trans. Most cars now days don't have adjustable rods but you will need to remove the console to see that. Your problem might be inside the trans.
If only 3rd gear has a problem maybe your 3rd gear synchronizers in the tranny are tailing.

- My 2012 Honda CBR250 motorcycle won't start. Video link included? So I previously posted this question but lacked sufficient information, so I'm reposting with a video link depicting the sound the bike is making. At first I thought the battery was dead, so I go a new battery, and the bike still won't start. It has 250 miles on it but hasn't been ridden in about 9 months. I took the side panels off to see if there was anything obstructing air intake, nothing observed. All suggestions are welcome.

- Why does my car engine rev up and down? It revs up and down all the way up to 3x rpm and down? Also when i step on the gas pedal it revs up all the way to the top 8x rpm and stays right there even when i let go of the gas pedal. Please anyone who can tell me why this happens? This is a 1995 honda civic by the way
