What oil should I use on my 2013 Honda Civic SI?

Does it not say in your owners manual, which of course you read?

The wight of the oil is printed on the oil filler cap.
I like Valvoline High Mileage oil. Make sure you get your oil changed every 3,000 miles if using regular motor oil or every 5,000 miles if using synthetic oil.
The cam advance actuators will tarnish up and stick if you don't change the oil at those intervals.

READ the owner's manual.

Whatever it says on the oil filler cap

Owners manual a great read. Tells you everything you want to know

0W-20

You can download the owners manual

It says "Premium-grade 0W-20 detergent oil with an API Certification Seal on the container" and "You may also use synthetic motor oil if it is labeled with the API Certification Seal and is the specified viscosity grade".

For some odd reason it doesn't specify which API category, but API SN is the recommendation for all gasoline cars newer than 2010.

Hi so multigrade oil synthetic would be what it was filled with back in 2013.
