What engine oil should i use for a Honda monkey engine?
What engine oil should i use for a Honda monkey engine for a mini bike / chopper? Also i don't have a manual or anything to tell me what to use! (1P39FMB) is on the engine alos
10W-40 API SG or 10W-40 API SL conventional oil.
Depends on which engine you are asking about. Go here and download your owners manual which will list the correct eight oil.
I'd use Shell Rotella 20W-50. It is wet clutch safe and not too expensive.
- 2004 Honda Pilot! I did an oil change today check the manual for the engine oil capacity, it is 4.8 liters and put 4.4 liters and add .5 ltr? Total engine oil put is 4.9 liters and I'm surprised the dipstick is above the second hole by 10mm. Is it overfill or do i need to remove some?

If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
