What should my first car be? - 1
I'll be getting my license pretty soon and I'm trying to decide what car to get. I really want a car with manual transmission that also has 4 doors. It can't be more than 10k either. One of my friends has an older Honda Civic, and I was thinking maybe I should get one of those. What do you think I should do?
With nearly 10k you can get a rly good civic. N not old… Great on gas
For $10,000 you can get a ten year old Civic with a bad transmission that you can replace for $3000 and will last for another 30,000 miles and go bad again. The rest of the car is great. You need to either spend more money or look at a Toyota- 6 years old. That's what you should do. What you want to do is get something more sporty like a Ford or Mazda, but it won't be all that reliable.
