Which fog lights should I get?

I have never shopped for fog lights and have no idea how to choose. I just recently purchased a brand new 2017 Honda Civic EX. The fog lights sockets are already there but the lights are not installed.

Essentially i'd like white LED lights. I care more about looks than actual visibility performance. So ideally, something not too expensive. Any recommendations which brand and where to purchase?

Fog lights don't make anyone cool.

Hi yes the lights are installed and are set at a position where they will be most effective as low down as possible. You might like the look of white LED lights however having been a driver for the last 50 years. They do produce more back glare than the old filament bulbs. Here in england we do get a lot of fog especially where we live here in the Somerset levels where fog because of water is all around.

Maybe best not to bother. Most decent cars already have them but you are admitting to buying the poverty specification option. In most places it is illegal to light then unless visibility is greatly reduced to no one will see you anyway. And by the way… The wiring to the lights and switches is not there when they are not factory fitted on that car.

Don't bother. There's NO LIGHT that will help you see through Fog. At best they just throw back more reflection. If you want other vehicles to see you then just use your dipped headlights. If you can't see where you are going slow down.
Those who insist on using fog lights when there's no fog are breaking the law.

Fog lights are old hat now. Mercedes have stopped fitting them on the latest 'C' Classes. People tend to miss-use them anyway.

Just get some low power white lights that do not have a focused beam and use your show lights like that. People installing "fog" lights or "driving" lights always install some excessively bright lights and then ignorantly neglect to properly AIM them, and then drive with them ON all the time, blinding everybody in their path. It's rude, ignorant and dangerous!
