I prefer the looks of the black but the carbon fiber hood and turbo is making it a tough decision.

Which do I choose?

Neither. Both cars have been abused.

Here's the breakdown. A Civic Si isn't running 17psi on a stock engine, so the engine has to be rebuilt. All that power it has probably been raced and driven very hard for a lot of those miles. Expect the chassis to be weakened, traction will be awful, the car will be horrible to drive.

The second car has the typical ricer add-ons. Cheap coilovers (which with a quick google search turns up numerous forum posts about failures and causing other problems with their cars), a few "street cred" names like A'PEXi and Bride, and not much substance. It was probably driven just as hard and is just as unreliable as the first one, but because it's not modified as much, it's a false sense of security.

Find a stock one… It's a civic, after all.

I would got whichever is close to stock you don't want to buy a car that you don't even know if the mods were done properly. Also watch out for the early si years they are known to have a tranny issue for popping out of gear, it was 06-08 around 08-09 it was fixed and wasn't as bad. Personally if I was gonna spend that much I would get a newer year like 09-2011 they have the whole package of acessories. Navi, stereo option on steering wheel and some other stuff I don't recall. Try to stay away from early year si's they were working out the bugs keep that in mind.

Go with the 07. Though the turbo Civic may sound nicer. At that power range and mileage, the engine is going to need a major overhaul.
