Why do some parents allow their 4th grade daughter to wear mismatched clothing or have their hair unbrushed at school?
This little girl in my daughters class is poorly dressed, has unbrushed hair constantly, and has never had a academic award. Her mom was badly dressed too but her mom is a nurse? I work in Finance making 55k a year and I had on a business outfit and my daughter had on a aeropostale shirt, jeans, and converse shoes. I just don't get why some parent's want their child to be the weird kid and not a cool kid. I was popular in school and so was my husband. Her mom took her to school one day in what looked to be walmart sweats, a shirt with holes, and house slippers and left in a black honda civic. Why even bother taking your kids to school if you don't brush their hair or makr them brush their teeth? My daughter says that the girl has braces and has bad breath sometimes.
There are many parents out there that simply don't care or find their children burdens.
Actually, that's a "look".
Braces in 4th grade, is this poor girl 15 years old.
You have VERY serious mental health issues.
Why did I just KNOW this was a blue face rant?
I know what you mean, how can people be so superficial.
It's their choice
Have you offered to help the mom? Or are you just trying to act superior?
Wow, a bit judegmental are you.
Who cares she doesn't wear only name brand clothes.
Being popular in school means nothing.
Unbrushed hair doesn't mean the child can't be educated.
All signs of the starting stages of neglect. The teachers and authorities
need to take a look at the home environment.
- Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
- Is it wrong to tell my 16year old daughter that she must earn a 3.0 gpa or higher if she wants a brand new car for graduation? If she gets below a 3.0 unless it is a medical or catastrophic situation then I will only buy her a used 2005 Chevy aveo. If she graduates in 2019 wit a 3.0 or higher I will buy her a new Nissan or Honda.
- I'm torn on vehicles. Top priority being safety for my 6 month old daughter. I can choose between a? 2008 honda element (car-seat right side of vehicle) or a 2002 ford expedition (car-seat in the middle. I don't car about gas or any other issue. Only the safety for my child
- My parents won't buy me the car I want. Should I sue? It's not like I'm spoiled and want a Lexus, I just want a Honda CRV! Instead they bought me a Honda Fit which is too small and like 1/2 the price!
