Why does my 2014 Civic Si have red honda badges on front and back and on steering wheel?

I bought a new Honda Civic Si from the dealership and the guy said that it was one of 10,000 models of that year, it looks nice but i want to know how accurate this is. Why does it have red badges? And why does my engine cover look white instead of black like they are on other Si's? Please answer!

There's something about those red badges. I think they were only used in Japan. When people saw them they wanted them. Not available in North America however. So someone reproduced them so that anyone could get them for their own car. This was a few years ago. Maybe your car was a response from the factory to satisfy the desire of people in North America for these red Japanese Honda badges.
Back in the day, people used to order a Coca Cola with cherry syrup. Called it a Cherry Coke. I think it was twenty years later that Coca Cola came out with their own Cherry flavored Coke. A response to it's popularity.

Note: Try doing a search for "Honda red badges".
