Does installing leather seats and Navigation at $3000 increase value of my new Honda CR-V?
I hope so.
Only if you sell within the first couple of years or so. After that, it doesn't factor into the selling price.
You won't be getting much of that $3000 back when you sell, but you'll enjoy the car a lot more.
Not at all!
Just means the buyer gets ether a bonus or some extra junk he/she does not need or want.
I plump for the later!
The increased value won't pay for the accessories you're adding.
It makes it more salable. It does not increase the value.
Yes, but probably not by $3000.
Basically, no. The dealer markup of these items when new is huge. Installing them in a used vehicle won't raise the value more than a few hundred dollars.
No.
Sure. By about $2.

- What impact does a rebuilt transmission and a new catalytic coverter have on car resale value? I have a 2000 Honda CRV with 195,000 miles that is in impeccable condition mechanically and cosmetically, with these recent repairs how much could i hike up the price for if i really wanted to sell it
- Will installing LED lights on my NEW 2015 Honda Civic void the warranty? Ok so, about 2 weeks ago I picked up a BRAND NEW '15 Civic from my local dealer, and some bulbs on my car are LED others are not. I was wondering that if I switched all my lights to LED if that would void the warranty/extended warranty? Being that the lights are "aftermarket". And also, can I use regular LED bulbs or do they have to be "CANBUS Compatible?" LED bulbs

- Is there Leather on the Dashboard of a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe(V6)? The seats are obviously leather, however I can't tell if some parts on the dashboard or door side panels are. It may be soft plastic/rubber/ vinyl… But i'm not sure. I just don't want to use my 'ArmorAll Protectant' that is not meant for leather on these parts if they actually are leather.
