Do car companies have to fix recalls free of charge?
Looked up my car and it had four recalls. Does the company I bought the car from (bought new) have to do the maintenance free of charge? Also should I print out the sheet from the Honda website with all the recalls? (I'm in the US).
Any authorized dealer should be able to do the work, & the 'bill' goes to the manufacture.
Yes.
Recalls usually are fixed at the car companies expense
They don't do all the maintenance for free they only do the recalls for free
You go to a Honda dealer if you have open recalls and if they are not time expired they do the recall for free. I'm sure the dealer will have a list of the open recalls on their computer. They just need the VIN and your car.

- Do leasing companies check your mileage every year or just st the end of the lease term? I was thinking about leasing a new Honda, but they only want to give me 12,000 miles per year. Is that the kind of thing they check every year or can I get away with driving more one year, as long as I keep my mileage low the next year?
