Honda could VERY WELL have been as big as Toyota, but they've had too many design problems over the years, and they are slow to correct them.

They've been plagued with transmission problems, and mysterious clunking noises in many models, including the Odyssey I own. People have been complaining about this clunking for over ten years and they STILL haven't corrected it.

The V6 engines with the cylinder deactivation is a bad design that causes terrible oil consumption and fouled spark plugs, and they still haven't corrected THAT after many years of complaints.

Now, Toyota on the other hand, gets busy NOW when there's a design problem, and gets it corrected QUICKLY.

I own several Toyotas and one Honda, which I HATE, but I wouldn't sell it to anybody and saddle THEM with it's problems. I'll wear it out, junk it, and stick to Toyotas in the future.
