Can i used another car models spark plugs to my car?
I have sparkplugs for a toyota avalon V6
And they fit on my honda accord
I want to know if i can use them
Will it affect it mechanically
If they are the same exact model, sure.
A mm too long and you can ruin your engine.
Wrong plug, it will run like garbage.
If you have to ask, why not just get the right plugs and not have to worry?
I would not do it unless both cars call for exactly the same plug. Plugs run at different heat ranges and may stick into the cylinder further depending on the plug. You run the chance of ruining you engine if you use the wrong one.
6 brand new spark plugs that exactly fit your engine will cost about $15-$30.
a rebuilt V-6 engine to replace the one you blew up by installing the wrong spark plugs will cost $1500 - $3000

- What are signs your car needs new spark plugs? I have a newer Honda with 75k miles. It started making loud noises in the morning and seems to be running rough like not accelerating as fast as before. I have read that Honda uses NGK iridium tip with 120k mile rating. So should I wait til 120k miles?
- Can you distinguish the motorcycle models used in this video? 4 bikes Yamaha FZR 600 is one of them Honda CBR is another Can't get the other 2, can you? Also what year range would you give these bikes? 93-96?
- How to read spark plugs over time? I know how to read spark plugs but over time, would a reading be accurate? Have a Honda whose spark plug is maybe 2 years old, would its reading still be similarly accurate as if it was only after a first good week of use? Stock everything, the porcelain is black, I'm upjetting now with a aftermarket exhaust and filter, should I upjet with if the porcelain is black? With the length of time? Should I try a new reading with a new plug? (Already installed one)
- Is it possible to trade in a used car for another used car? I bought a 2013 Toyota Yaris about 4 months ago. I bought mainly because it was cheap and fuel efficient. But I realized I don't really like. So I'm have buyers remorse. Is it possible to trade it in for another used car? I was thinking of getting a Honda Civic or a Volkswagen Jetta. How long should I wait to do the trade in?
