Is the 2013 Honda Fit with over 50k miles on its clock still good enough for a road trip
I'm going to use it for a 150-mile travel to another city. Is the car still reliable enough to do the job?
Certainly, IF it has been well maintained.
It should make it without a hitch. Give it a quick look at (fluids and tires) before you go.
If you've been changing the oil and filter every 3,000 miles you should get a good 200,000 miles out of that motor. Have the transmission fluid changed every 60,000 miles. At 50,000 miles the front brakes are likely to need replacing.
It is barely broken in. Almost a new car. No worries.
My son in law has a 2010 Civic with 195,000 miles on it and he still does long distance trips with it. He also has a Tacoma 4WD with over 250,000 on it and still does 300 mile trips in that as well.
- Honda Nighthawk road trip? About to take my first big motorcycle road trip. Going from Kansas to Texas on my 1992 Honda nighthawk 750. My question is if the bike that old will make it there and back without much trouble and if they make saddle bags and windscreens etc that fit that type of bike? Any pointers would help thanks!
- Is the 2013 Honda Fit okay for a road trip? I'm going on a road trip and I'm going to use my 2013 Honda Fit on this 150-mile trip and this is the first time I'm gonna use this car on a long road trip. It uses a 1.3 L engine. My friend said that its engine will over heat. Although my car still runs like new and never had any major or minor issues… Is it okay?
- I can't find a 2012-14 Honda CRV or a 2013-15 Toyota RAV4 online that is < 15k, has < 50k miles and was never damaged or in an accident? A couple of weeks ago, my car (a 2009 crv) got totaled in an accident and am looking for a small, reliable suv (that has the same cargo space as my old car) so I've came across these two vehicles on various websites. Insurance gave my family ~9,000 for the automobile. Does anybody know if and how I can find one offline or for much less money based on my criteria?
- I'm planning a road trip from LA to Houston with my 1995 Honda Civic with 317800 Miles on it. Any thoughts? First of all, there's nothing wrong with the car. Everything checks out fine, and it drives normally. It had a cracked head gasket about 3 years ago but it has been professionally replaced therefore the heat problem is already taken care of… And the car gets its oil changed every 3000 miles with Chevron s Oil.
