Noob Question! Is there a way to fit a Honda or Toyota or any Japanese make Engine into a Chrysler Sebring from the 90s?

Yes.

The question is how many tens of thousands of dollars you are willing to spend having a lot of custom work done. Lots of fabrication and electrical… Lots.

Of course there's a way because the car was based on the Mitsubishi Galant and some versions of the Sebring had the 2.5 Liter Mitsubishi 6G73 V6 engine in it. Of course it would be a heck of a lot easier and cheaper to just go find a Sebring with that engine and the matching 5 speed manual gearbox in it The 2007 and newer with the V6 is the one to have

Anything is possible, with enough work and/or money.
The big question is, is it practical for the cost and effort involved?

However, in that case:
The 1995-2000 Sebring coupe was based largely on the Mitsubishi Galant / Eclipse and the 2.5L V6 was actually a Mitsubishi-built 6G73 engine.

So, if you have the 2.5 V6 you already have a Japanese engine, or a transplant of that engine into a car with the smaller engine should be reasonably straightforward, if you can find a donor scrap sebring.
Or just change the car and get that version.

Right, that is a noob question. Yes, that can be done. It will be costly and require lots of modification.

There are DOZENS of ways to do that… MOST of them WRONG!

Everything is possible, it's just a question of how much you hate having money. If the Seb is RWD find a Tojo donk that is a North-South engine i.e. The cylinders are lined up front to back. Then you need an adaptor plate to join it to the transmission, hopefully you can avoid problems with fouling things like the steering links and brake servo etc. Hook the donk up to the radiator with some custom hoses, mount all the Japanese engine management sh! T, weld in new engine mounts and so on. It's a big job. Drop the car in tomorrow I'll have it done by lunchtime.

Yes, there's a way, but it is not simple or easy.

Some had the Mitisubishi engine from the factory.
