Honda Integra engine troubles?
I recently bought a 1986 Honda Integra with two problems. It has an oil leak coming from the cover next to the timing belt, and it idles on high revs (~3000). Any ideas what this may be and how I could fix it?
It's your valve cover it's a easy fix or you can just get a whole swap off Craigslist for 300 or 400 bucks
The oil leak is your job, replace the gasket should do it. As for the high idle, that old of a car may have a carb on it and it may need adjusting may be stuck on high idle because of the choke.
- Honda integra type R 2001? Any info? Looking at a first car, i'm an enthusiast and this car looks amazing for a p plate legal car. Anyone with experience with it?
- Honda Integra Idle Air Control Valve issue? Anyone knows what's wrong with my turbocharged ITR? It's not running smooth anymore. I thought it was spark plug problem, so I replaced them but still nothing changed. Might be IAC problem? Rebuilt parts: -Eagle Rods -Garrett T3/TO4E Turbo Rebuilt date: 2009
- Wheel and tire troubles on 1995 Honda LX sedan? I have a 1995 Honda LX sedan (new to me) It currently has 14" wheels and tires but i have 13" winter wheels and tires. I've looked at a lot of different sources and i've heard a lot of mixed info good and bad. If anyone knows if these winter wheels and tires will fit on this car, please let me know. I live in minnesota and time is running out
