How can I achieve speeds of 4km/hr for a machine running on a small engine like honda gk120?
I want to build a machine that runs max speed of 5km/hr or 4km/hr… Is that possible with the engine honda gk120. Which gears should i use.
You need to specify the wheel size of your machine. A wheel 50 cm in diameter will revolve about 640 times in the course of 1km. 4km/h will equate to 640 x 4 / 60 = about 40rpm. If the engine is running at 2400rpm, the gearbox ratio will be 2400:40 = 60:1
- Will Powerflex polyurethane bushings help my car achieve better handling and corner faster? My car is an 03 Honda Element awd and there's a brand called Powerflex that makes polyurethane bushings specifically for each car. In my case, for my front and rear anti sway bars they offer "street" and "race" polyurethane bushings for my Honda.

How do i take it off?! I don't want to take it off and mess it up
- Want to rebuild engine. What work will I need a machine shop for? I have done a lot of minor car work myself, but this is the first time I've looked into doing an engine rebuild. It's a Honda b18c, and I'm just wondering what work I could likely do myself with basic garage tools, and what work I'll definitely need a machine shop for?
- Honda clone small engine, horizontal shaft, high idle? It is on a baja warrior mini bike. I bought this bike from a guy who tried to make it a bit faster but left me with a problem. When starting the bike you have to jump on it as soon as it fires up because it starts going with out any twist of the throttle. I already cleaned the carb and the jets and tried adjusting the idle at the idle screw on top of the carb. The linkage looks fine and returns to the position it should. Also the clutch is in working order. How do I lower the idle?
