How much does it cost in the uk to replace a honda hrv catalytic converter Year 2000?

Have been quoted £350 so far.

Try a few more places if you want more quotes. Sounds a bit dear though.
Don't assume the fast fit places are cheaper, usually a small local garage will do it for less.

So my question is would I be able to separate the exhaust manifold from the catalytic converter, and switch in a functional but used one?
