How to fix a problem with a 1995 Honda del sol, where the fuel pump only works sometimes?
The fuel pump has been replaced but only gets power sometimes. It's not the regulator and not the fuse. They have power going to the fuse but not to the fuel pump.
Check the wiring car shake alot and could shake the wiring.
You don't mention checking the fuel pump relay, known as the "main relay." It is one of the most common (probably *the* most common) Honda failures. See the source for more information and a test.
Hi it is going to need a new fuel pump soon this will be a thousand dollars or more along with the mechanic spending hours diagnosing other issues with a 20 year old car. I would suggest selling the car before it needs this pump.
- Turbo on my honda del sol? I got a 5 speed 93 del sol and i'm inlove with the sound cars with turbo make when people shift. That "pshh" sound like air or gas. Lol i don't know. But is it possible to get that on my delsol? And if so, what do i need to buy? Where to install? And what are the prices?
- Honda del sol Vtec b18c swap? I have a 94 honda del sol VTEC B16A3 and I'm thinking of doing a B18c type R swap. Reason is my friend is asking 1k for it. My question is What Do I Need (engine mounts, ect…) to make this B18c engine fit right in my del sol. Thanks.
- Does the fuel pump on a 1994 Honda Shados stay going, or is it only to prime the carbs when starting? My Honda Blackbird is also carbureted with no fuel pump, therefore I don't see why it'd be necessary for a classic style V-twin. Is it on all the time while the engine is running, or is it just used in tandem with the starter?
- My 2000 Honda Civic EX shuts off when driving it, sometimes it'll start back up but sometimes it won't I got my tail pipe and muffler replaced. I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.
