How to upgrade my a car without being a ricer?
I want to buy a Honda Del Sol or a Acura Integra and put upgrades on either car as time goes on, but I want don't want to be or be known a ricer, I was also considering Buying a 1993 -2002 Chevy Camaro, But The only things I know I want to do for sure is a turbo and a paint job and maybe a a body kit ( Not an obnoxious body kit ).
No care what others thinks. Their opinion are not better than mine.
By not overdoing it. Just keep it simple. A ricer is basically a car with an overdecorated exterior without improving the performance (a lot of idiots misuse the term ricer all the time so ignore them). The Camaro can also be a ricer if done incorrectly
No stickers
No flamboyant body kit
No massive spoiler
No stupid 19' rims
And don't slam it too much
I suggest you put a lip rather than a body kit. Like i said, keep it simple and make it look as stock as possible:
- What should I upgrade first on my car? I bought my first car a Honda S2000 recently and its completely stock except for an intake. I was wondering what I should do next to it. Rims? Exhaust?
- Paying for Honda Loaner Car From Dealership while Paint Recall is Being Fixed? I'm going to be paying $33/day for (1 to 2 weeks) for a loaner car from my honda dealership while its away in the shop. Is there any flexibility in picking what car I want or do they automatically assign me a car. I feel like since i'm paying i should be able to pick what car I want, or even pay a little more for something nicer?
- After replacing our car battery, our remote starter just turns and turns without actually starting the car? My wife has a 2010 Honda Fit and we just had to replace the battery. We got a remote starter installed from Best Buy in either 2010 or 2011. But after the recent battery replacement, the remote starter responds by just cranking and not starting. It does like three sets of cranking before stopping. I don't remember the brand of remote starter, but anyone have any insight of what I need to do?
- Does power steering fluid get hot if the car is just running and the steering isn't being used? If the pump is just spinning, recirculating fluid and nothing else… Would it still get hot? I had to bypass the pump from the rack and have the fluid recirculate. Would the pump get hot from just spinning? I know 8th gen Honda's don't have a cooler for the power steering anyways.
