I got a challenger sxt v6 deleted the mufflers and it sounds raspy like a honda?

I recently deleted my mufflers on my v6 2015 challenger and it sounds too high pitched like a pop can. I have a cold air intake I'm going to install. Will that help make it a little deeper tone? Also will adding long tube headers help make it deeper? Any help is appreciated

Try adding a 'HEMI' …

Mufflers work most effectively on higher frequencies. Of course it will sound tinny with the mufflers removed. Different mufflers produce different sounds; no muffler just makes it sound like you couldn't afford to get it fixed.

Muffler delete = illegal in all 50 states

Unapproved exhaust mod = voided power train warranty

Cold air intake = complete waste of money except on a race track. Won't change sound much, if any.

Quinten = dumbass.

RICE IT OUT MY FRIEND

Yeah. Sounded that way with V8 engines. You got to put a muffler on it like a THRUSH. That will change the sound. Thrush or blue bottle is a flow through muffler. You want the deep hollow sound. Cutting the mufflers off also reduce horsepower. Researched in the auto manufacturers R&D sector.(you know, the guys who have the money from the car maker to experiment with various configurations to find the best fit for the engine… So spending thousands of dollars and have the dynos and other test equipment to find out what works the best.)
R&D is a big part of every part in making a car.

You have tune it lije a musical instrument, ask in physics forum

All the CAI after market systems have a claenable air filter. The oil on those filter migrates to the MAF sensor wires and ruins MAF sensor. The motor came with a perfectly good CAI system. It's just plastic and not shiny chrome and has a replaceable air filter that you don't need to mess with for 4 hours to clean it properly.
You probably lost all the back pressure in the exhaust system too. That will make you slow off the line.
Put a good cat-back system on the vehicle!
