Why are those round type mufflers always mounted sideways?
Those round can shaped mufflers are always mounted pointing slightly sideways. Why? And why are they only on certain cars such as hondas subarus mitsubishi evos and dodge neons
A sideways muffler provides some energy absorption in the event of a rear-end collision. It's an extra "crumple zone" that protects the gas tank.

- Why people buy those POS Harleys? Why don't they buy a Hayabusa? Harleys are low, long, heavy and expensive. Whereas Hayabusa is comparable to a Bugatti Veyron. Plus, Hayabusa in made in Japan, so it's got Honda like reliability. Harley, on the other hand, break down all the time. So… Why people buy Harleys? Must be a baby boomers' thing which a millennial like me would never understand!
- Why are those Harley Davidson motorcycles very popular among old people? Usually, I see young people riding Honda or Kawasaki kind of motorcycles. But there are many old men who ride Harley Davidson stuff. Why do those young people prefer those fast bikes and old people like those Harley Davidson stuff?
- I got a challenger sxt v6 deleted the mufflers and it sounds raspy like a honda? I recently deleted my mufflers on my v6 2015 challenger and it sounds too high pitched like a pop can. I have a cold air intake I'm going to install. Will that help make it a little deeper tone? Also will adding long tube headers help make it deeper? Any help is appreciated
- Why is a Honda Civic always a car of ridicule in the US? I often see these cars in memes. Some say its pretty fast in stock form and able to pick at some unsuspecting american fast cars and others say its the cheap choice of Asian home care employees. I'm getting mixed opinions so somebody anybody compare this car with the cars in the US?
