1980 Honda cb750c headlight replacement?

I've been looking for a replacement headlight, but I can't seem to trust the sites that sell them because I've had problems with the last headlight I bought online. So is there any trusted sites that I can get a aftermarket headlight for my 1980 Honda cb750c or can you send me a link to a headlight that is compatible to my bike.

Not any leads other than joining in on an online forum for your bike (or similar). Not always a positive result(s), the bike is 35 years old, not Stone Age techs but a bit different.

Bike bandit.com? Honda dealer? EBay? Its a headlight common to MANY early 80's Hondas.

I used to get ahold of these guys, just down the road apiece: http://www.mcsalvage.com/coopers.htm
Had some help from this outfit, long before there was Ebay: http://www.slcycle.com/

Find a salvage yard that's local to you.
The talk to each other across the country. They ship parts to each other as well.

Well since you insist on buying online instead of supporting a small independent shop and getting the right part from a sales person who knows the parts I don't care about your problem. I run a small independent shop and i can't stand you lazy people who get parts online.

Here's a bulb for your headlight.

Unfortunately you have to take your chances with most sites for old motorcycle parts. I had the most luck with bike bandit (this was for a 1980 honda 125xl) but many of the parts i needed were simply no longer available. Many people with parts don't know what they have or are guessing based on sight only. I would try to get as much info as possible including part numbers before you purchase.

The earlier 750s would take a standard 7" headlight porvided you turned the mounts that clamp around the headlight Take a look it's pretty obvious. This also opens up the opportunity to fit a better headlight
