Can a professional race car driver start off racing motorcycles?
I'm 14 I hope to become a professional motorist one day
Like INDYCAR, Formula One, NASCAR, etc.
And I know most of those guys start off by racing Go-Karts
But, personally I'm not a big fan of Go-Karts, they don't feel like a real car.
I like motorcycles, and yes I know how to ride them.
Is it possible to start of racing motorcycles and then later on hope to get noticed and sponsored and make a transition to cars.
I can get like a Honda and take it to the track
And then transition to something like a Ducati when I get older and I get sponsors
And then I make the transition to automobiles
Although I'm not sure weather to get a sport bike/street bike or a dirt bike.
It seems like most youth completions are for dirt bikes and not sport bikes, but I'm not sure on that.

You think that a kart doesn't feel like a car?
What do you think an actual race car handles like? The kart is closer than 99% of the street cars out there and teaches you the skills needed to be a competitive driver.
You are already 5+ years behind the kids currently racing mx, going to be tough trying to play catch-up.
You really think its this easy to race bikes?
You are living in a dream world mate. Where does the money come from?
Also, Damon Hill & Colin MacRea both started off racing motorbikes before going car racing.
- Is there a way to find out the percentage of how off my motorcycles odometer will be with non-stock gearing? The front and rear sprockets on my Honda CBR600 have 15 teeth in front and 45 teeth in the back. Stock gearing for my bike is 16 teeth front and 43 teeth back. I was wondering is there a formula or anyway I can figure out roughly the percentage my speedometer and odometer is off by?
- I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect? I have a Honda Harmony HRB215 K4 SDA that won't pull start but if I take off the recoil and drill start it, it runs perfect. I did a compressin test, the pull start only gets the mower to 60psi but the drill gets the mower to 150psi. This mower does have a decompression vale where the ehaust opest about 1/8 of the way. I tore the ead off and checked and cleaned the valves. They don't stick open. Could there be an issue with the decompression valve? Or would it be the piston rings?
- Where can I get insurance for a honda civic registered as a modified race car? I'm currently not the one trying to put insurance on the honda civic but is there any advice where I could get a cheap insurance for this Honda civic? Most of them are charging $50 a month.
- What is a fast cheap automatic car to drag race with & modify? I don't got the car yet, It would be my first car but I want to know what I should I get that would be cheap to modify and run fast to drag, I know that Honda Civics that are year 2000 and lower are cheap to modify but most of them are Stick Shift. It wouldn't be drag racing on the track it would be illegal, & Year 2005 & lower.
