Honda CBR 125 vs YZF r125?
What is better out of the two? I'm looking for a learners bikes to buy when I'm 17, which is about 2 months away. Any other 125cc bikes that i could take into consideration would also be a big help.
I have owned both Honda and Yamaha motorcycles. With that being said, the Honda would be my choice. It has 13 h.p & 10 lb/ft of torque, where the Yamaha only has 8 h.p. & 9 ft/lb of torque. Neither bike will be a speed demon but for a new rider they are just about right. Honda's are bullet proof and will be very dependable, not to say the Yamaha is not dependable but Honda has the edge in that category. All in all the Honda would be my choice.
Neither, go with the aprilla rs125 it smokes the two of them and is about the same price.
Yes take into consideration the Honda CBF 125 rather than the CBR 125.
The CBF is much cheaper to buy, is 2 insurance groups less, has less plastics/things to damage should you drop it.
The difference is power is only about 2 bhp and the CBF is only about 5 mph slower

- How much does the engine itself of each of these bikes weigh? Yamaha YZF R6 Suzuki GSX 600 Honda CBR600RR? They are all ~600cc. Kgs would be preferable but its easy enough to convert the weights. I can't find their engine weights anywhere.
