How much tire pressure should there be for honda cg 125 motorbike?
How much tire pressure should there be for honda cg 125 motorbike?
Do not look at the sidewall and pump them up to that - it will be far too high. Only the maximum allowed pressure for the tyre is on there.
If you do not have the owners manual and there's not a tyre pressure sticker on thebike then refer to a Honda dealer or a Haynes manual
*Tyre
Front Disc Brake model, Front 25 psi, Solo Rear 29 psi, Passenger Rear 33 psi.
Front Drum Brake model, Front 25 psi, Solo Rear 28 psi, Passenger Rear 32 psi
1976 to 1984 models = 17 inch rear wheel = 40 psi.
As said do not use pressure on sidewall. It is scary how many people are driving around dangerously because they do not know nothing about tyre pressures.
Have a look at the original tyre sidewall it is usually printed on here if not then consult a dealer.
- Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
- Is it likely that the Moto Roma 125 (chinese motorbike) is heavier than it says in its specs? I have a Moto Roma 125 and a 1982 Honda xl 250. The Honda xl 250 says it weighs 130 kilograms and the Moto Roma 125 says it only weighs 115 kilograms, the things is the Moto Roma is without a shadow of doubt heavier by a good bit than the Honda. Is the book for the Moto Roma lying or something else.
- Honda Shadow Aero, Recommended tire pressure? I have a 2007 Honda Shadow Aero 750, What is the recommended tire pressure for this? It shows I have 10 psi in the front which looks to be impossible. Because it is not flat or even close when parked and when sat on. (I'm 300 pounds, I think it would droop. And the back says I have 25. How much do I need?
- GRS 125 or a Honda CBF 125? I'm stuck between the bikes, both look very reliable and build quality. The GRS 125 is new and is around 2000 pounds at my dealer, pretty bike and feels nice, Austrian made so its a European bike. The CBF125 is a 2010 model with 310 miles, pretty much new and seems nice too, it comes around 1700 pounds. So I was wondering which one I would be recommend as a starter bike and what's the better choice?
