I'm considering buying a 03 Honda cb 919?
The guys is moving and needs it gone. He's letting it go for $2,000. The bike has 56k miles, And that concerns me. He said he bought it at 50k. Is it worth buying?
No one can tell you based solely on your description and the picture. What matters most is how the bike was ridden and maintained while it racked up that 56K miles.
If the bike looks, sounds, and rides well, have it inspected by a dealer or other trusted bike shop of YOUR choosing before finalizing the deal. This way you'll get a much better idea of what shape it is really in and what you can expect from it within the foreseeable future.
For and additional $1000 you could find a similar bike with 10-15k miles. I'd much rather pay a little more for less miles.
I can't inspect the bike but it'll likely be one repair after another with that many miles
