Buying a used 2000 honda cbr600 F4?

Is it worth me the time and money for this bike?

It was well worth this but i have just rung up and told him i will buy it sorry

Honda bikes tend to last 10, 20 and 30 years so yes, parts are easily available as Honda still make parts for bikes that are discontinued.

If the missing starter switch means you can't hear it running proceed with caution.

Red Flags:
1. No starter switch which means you can't hear the bike run
2. Speedo broken which means you have no idea the mileage
3. It's been crashed, probably several times

As far as I'm concerned it's a 500 dollar bike and not one cent more if you can't start it and ride it right now before buying the bike. It's only worth parts if you can't hear it run and ride it enough to evaluate the bike.

  • Wheel lights on honda cbr600? My boyfriend just bought a used honda cbr600. It has red lights on the rims of the wheels. The guy he bought if from said one wasn't working so he disconnected both of them. We're trying to figure out how to connect them. Or turn them back on. I've tried looking up everything on google but nothing explains how to connect them or turn them on. If anyone has a similar bike please help me out!
  • What is the best clutch kit to buy for my 1999 Honda cbr600 f4? I need to replace the clutch on my CBR 600f4_ and not sure which kit to order and this is the 1st time rebuilding clutch does anyone have any web pages that might have useful tips or diagrams?
  • Should I get an Suzuki SV650 or a Honda CBR600 f4i? I'm a beginner rider and I was wondering which of these would best fit me for my first ride. I know one is a cruiser and one is a crotch rocket? So how much difference is there between the two? I'm 5'6 by the way if that affects anything.
  • Is a Honda cbr600 a good beginners bike? I'm 13 years old, and i'm saving up for one. I rode my brothers pit bike on the highest gear possible, while going very fast and going through slippery sand. I was comfortable on it. I feel that a 250cc or a 300cc motorbike is too small. I like the looks and how fast the cbr600rr goes. What do you think of it?
