Kawasaki Ninja 300 or Honda Cbr300r?
As a beginner I'm not sure which one to go with here. I have been riding dirt bikes in my past years so I figured the 300's would be fun to start on. I'm female relatively small, about 5'2 and 120lb. Any advice on which bike to go for? I've always liked the Honda Cbr model but can't decide if I should give the other a chance. Is there anything you do or don't like about them?
The ninja is a twin cylinder bike so may have better performance, however the Honda may be simpler and that may appeal to you. Take a test ride, and see which you prefer, also consider how far your dealer is for servicing and after-sales support.
CB300F: cheaper, same engine, fewer useless side covers to get scratched, better riding position.
The Ninja is a high revving twin, the Honda is a single. Look at the Dyno Chart, below -- below 9,000 rpm the single produces more torque and more horsepower. Once you get the Ninja screaming over 9,000 rpm the Ninja is faster.
The Ninja screams on the race track. In the dirt and in the city, Singles Rule. I have *NO* reason to exceed 85 mph, I will never play on a race track -- I need a quick agile motorcycle for use in the city, that is capable of getting on the freeways and Interstates. Not to mention that the Honda is lighter than the bulky overweight Ninja -- http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/enthusiasts/new_vehicle_compare.asp?vehicle1=496028&year2=2016&mfg2=1&vehicle2=490295&go=Go
If you really want fun on the streets, you don't want a 384 pound 300cc Ninjette ABS -- Suzuki's 381 pound 652cc Big Single is far quicker -- http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/enthusiasts/new_vehicle_compare.asp?vehicle1=496028&year2=2016&mfg2=4&vehicle2=491150&go=Go
Neither of those is a dirtbike!
I vote exoplanets offering- the CB300F.
They are both good. It is like asking if a Ford is better then a Chevy, people argue both ways. Chose the one that is most comfortable to sit on, ride and appeals to you, not someone else.
Uhm… The Yamaha. Why isn't that on your list? It's FAR better looking than the others and will give you more room to grow (read the reviews). Honda 300 = wimpy. Kawasaki would be my second choice.
- Which motorcycle this is? (ex. Honda, kawasaki, yamaha, etc.) And series as well (ex. Cbr, ninja, etc.)? Thank you very much! The reason I'm asking is because it is not physically in my possession… Otherwise I obviously would have checked the bike itself.
- Which looks better: a Kawasaki Ninja 250r or a Honda CBR250R? I'm debating these two bikes and they are both pretty similar. Now I'm just deciding which looks better? Here is a couple of pictures of them side by side. P.S don't just by color. Just plain looks.
- Which is better for a beginner: a Kawasaki ninja 250r or a Honda CBR250R? I'm a beginner and I'm thinking about getting a bike. Please don't tell me to get a 600 or 1000 or whatever. I don't need those. I can do well with a 250. I just want to know what is better in your guys' opinion. Please explain why.
- Ninja 300 or Honda CBR500r for beginner? I'm looking at getting a bike and the two that interest me are the Ninja 300 and the Honda CBR500r. Just want to know what you guys would pick and why? I'm leaning towards the Ninja 300. Like the looks of it better but i'm also 6'4'' and about 175 Lbs so that may be a little small in size, motor has plenty of powerful might be a little cramped though. But anyway, what are your thoughts?
