Trying to buy a honda cb motorcycle?
I live in california out of los angeles by west covina and been looking a lot for a honda motorcycle cb aroun the years 1970-1979 and its been hard finding any running ones for cheap around 2000 found some but they are either way to far or not working. Anyways i was wondering if anyone knows any good websites too look at? I'm already all over cragslist and need some help.
Others want old CBs. They are willing to pay more than you are.
You have to pay to play. Either cough up more money or look for a cheaper bike.
There's an old bike swap meet and show at El Camino College twice a year. I have seen them there. Also try the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. They have a classified section in their magazine.
The CB 750 SOHC is now a very desirable bike, both to people who restore and also to chopper builders. You need to pay up or shut up. Nobody is selling one that is running in good condition cheap. Go on facebook and like the CB 750 choppers and bobbers page.Lots of good people on there and you will indeed find parts bikes as well as running CBs and complete choppers for sale.

- Trying to adjust caster: How to convert inches to degrees? Caster on the driver side is nearly 4 degrees more than the passenger side which is in spec at 2.2. The driver side is at 5.9 positive caster and right now I'm trying to figure out the amount of washers I need to help with the issue. I looked around online and found caster spacers for honda vehicles that come in 1/8 and 1/16. How would I convert inches to degrees?
- O3 honda cbr954rr, trying to find certain bolts- not sure what they're technically called? Looking for new ones and having trouble finding them online. Not sure how to word the search. Replacing head gasket. It's the main bolts that hold the head to the engine block. There's 10 of them.Talked to a honda dealer and they said its just called washer bolts but cost $75.+ tax through them. When i search washer bolts even adding engine, head, cylinder head etc. Still find nothing. Anyone know where or how to find them?
- Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil? My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil. But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine. What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?
