What can I expect from a full service by a mechanic (Dirt Bike)?
Just out of interest, what should I expect a licenced mechanic to do in a full service to a dirt bike?
Bike: 2013 Honda CRF150RB 4 stroke
If you're creepy and have taken your bike to the same place as me before: I took it to RPM motorcycle Services.
What I'm hoping they'll do: Apart from things like the filters, oil levels, lubricants, etc. I'm hoping they'll get round to making sure the valves are right. Maybe it's just in my head, but I reckon the bike's lost a bit of power since I first got it.
Time since last service: 20-35 hours (I know, It's overdue)
Not expecting them to do this, but hey: Jetting?
Jee, this is getting way too long
Thank's in advance for any answers! -Harper
You can always ask them to do what you want.
If you look in your handbook you will probably have a service schedule, which will detail exactly what should be covered.
- Where in eastern PA can I legally ride my dirt bike? (trails/parks)? So I've been riding my 1979 Honda XL for a few months now (first bike) and I'm really interested in riding offroad now. The only place I can ride dirt right now is at a construction site down the street. Where are there any trails or parks that I can legally ride at in eastern PA or within a reasonable distance of West Chester, PA. (or any places that aren't so legal but fun to ride at… Haha)
- Where can i buy a cheap dirt bike? Hi i'm 13 years old and i live in california. I'm saving up for a 125cc dirt bike (probably honda). I was wondering where i can find a good place to buy one that would be cheap. I've seen ones that are around 1000 dollars and i was wondering if there's anything good that would be cheaper or around that. If you can also please tell me if this would be a good bike for me i'm around 5,1. So if you can help me find a good dirt bike that would be great!
- Can't decide on keeping my dirt bike or selling it and getting a motorcycle? I bought a 1986 yz125 and have been looking at a honda magna. I want to ride a bike on the road but i love offroading. Would it be smarter for me to just save up and find something some time in the future or should i sell the dirt bike and get the motorcycle. I enjoy and love my dirt bike but i also want to ride a motocycle on the road its restored
- Can I make my 100cc dirt bike street legal in texas? I have a 2003 honda xr 100r and want to make it road legal mostly to ride around and get to trails and also as a fun cheap bike to ride around with friends. I understand it's small and I wouldent be rideing it on the highway or anything. I know I need a horn, high low beams, tailight and dot tires, but is it legal to d though it's only 100cc? Don't say I should just get another bike beacuse i'm stuck with this one and can't afford to buy another
