What fuel do I put in a Honda CRF 70 Dirt Bike?

Just bought one on a whim. I thought it was a 2 stroke, but reading it's a 4. Do I need to mix the fuel?

You should go to places that do oil change or call Honda 1800 number or locally if possible. Some one can give you a wrong item over the Internet.

No, you do not need to mix oil in the fuel. Like you said, it's a 4 stroke. Just use 89 or 91 octane (or whatever is in your country) You do not need high octane, it will not make your bike run better

If you read it's a 4 stroke why didn't you read you don't need to mix the fuel.

Air cooled dirt bikes should have the highest octane pump gas you can put in it. 91 is best. No mixing of oil or any other additives is required.

You do not need to mix oil with gas in a 4 stroke engine

  • Is a Honda or Kawasaki dirt bike better? I'm going to get my first dirt bike soon. I'm a "whopping" 4' 9". I want to get a bike with not too much power, but not too little, and want one that usually doesn't break down. I heard that Kawasaki's are better, but don't rely on it… So, what do you think?
  • I put 87 octane gas in my bike, can I use octane boost to correct the problems it's causing my bike? Last night I put 87 octane in my 2008 Honda Shadow 750. It started sputtering and stalled out on me twice last night. Can I use octane boost to make it run cleaner and better. Will that help fix the stalling problem as I have always run 93 octane and never had any problems?
  • Honda dirt bike power loss? The bike got water in the cylinder and the piston stopped because of pressure in the cylinder. I forced kicked it and it broke free and started… After this it seems like I don't have very high top speed
  • Honda Crf 150f good bike? I'm 13 and about 5,2 and am looking for pretty much any bike under 200 in kansas. I have looked at the crf 150f and am leaning towards that.
