What is a good motorbike helmet for this bike?
I'm getting a honda cbr 125 repsol soon
Any decent helmet that you can afford.
Craigslist time
You should get a helmet for your head, NOT for the motorcycle.
A helmet that fits snugly (they all take a bit of wearing in so do not worry if it is a bit tight at first).
I'm Very Glad you asked. I ride with so many Angels and other blkers too "cool " to wear a lid. It's My noggin, I choose to Wear.
Get a new Bilt full face that matches the color. (Do NOT paint a helmet-!) Put some reflectorized tape that matches on the back.
Try several models and makes. Get the one that fits and is the Most Comfortable. Like a shoe--even if it costs $500, if it doesn't Fit, you won't wear it and it won't do any good.
Any good helmet that is not 2 halves joined together. You want a fiberglass helmet. Look inside under the lining and you can see if it is fiberglass mat or just cheap plastic. Fiberglass shell is always stronger. You got one head and you may have many motorcycles. The head won't change in size so get a good one. It is yours for LIFE.
A Shark is a good helmet and meets British standards. You can buy a starter helmet for £150 suitable for the capacity and speed of your bike.
A good helmet is the one that fits your head the best. All helmets sold as legal meet the same basic safety standards but they have different shaped liners. Some will suit your head shape better than others. Get down to the dealership and try a whole bunch of them on. Tighten the strap. You want a nice even firm pressure all over your head. Test if the helmet rolls off your head easily. Then only when you've shortlisted a few possibles, worry about which style, cost, colour etc you like best.
- You say do I need to keep the Bell helmet the renter wore when he slipped, and crashed my motorcycle? My motorcycle is the 2008? Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle. The Cofounder of Riders- Share.Com compensated me the full amount of the motorcycle repairer's written damage estimate. I was also fully compensated for the helmet, which the renter wore when he crashed my motorcycle and my helmet.
- Why is my Honda CB250 motorbike spewing out so much smoke? When I run my bike it gives off a lot of smoke when riding and at the lights. As far as I can tell it runs fine, but just smokes a lot. It was so bad tonight that the taxi behind me was pretty much engulfed by smoke, so much so I was worried if he could see the road properly or not. I of tern take it on longish distances (over an hour of riding at about 90ks an hour (56 miles. Could that have damaged it ( I know its not exactly designed for that)
- Which Scooter should I get as my first ever motorbike? I will definitely buy the Honda Activa. No I'm confused between the 3 varients available in India. The Simple Activa, The Activa i & the Activa 125cc. My ride will be around 22kms daily through a mixture of bad & very bad roads. Also I'm a first time rider, means I will learn on this vehicle too. I'm proficient in bicycling. Please advice.
- Which Motorbike should I get? I'm planning to get a motorbike next year to get to school every weekday and to commute a bit. I'm thinking of buying either a Yamaha YZF R15, Honda CBR250R or a Kawasaki Ninja 300. Which one would be best for me? I'm about 1.7m tall 15 years old 16 next year.
