What's a good beginner bike for a tall rider?
I've always wanted to get a bike ever since my mom let me ride one when I was 12. I'm a 16 year old girl, 5'9", 135 pounds. I was thinking about a Triumph Bonneville (it's my dream to own one but now I'm thinking it's too small) or a Honda. Does anyone know what would be a good bike for me, even if I grow an inch or two more before I can afford one?

You need to get a driver's license first, and then you can get an endorsement to ride a motorcycle.
At 5'9" you are about perfect. You can ride just about any motorcycle. However a $10K 500 pound 140 mph Bonneville is a bit much. I would suggest a used under $2K under 300 pound 250cc dual-sport. Easier to ride, easier to pick it up after a drop, and won't care being dropped. You will also learn how the wind feels before you are doing 120 mph and can't stop. You do not know how far it takes to stop, not yet.
There are too many options available for a tall rider but i personally suggest you to choose bikes from Suzuki Motorcycles because there all bikes are International Standard and comes with Power, style and class, suggest you to please visit their website to know more.
I think a Triumph Bonneville is a prefect bike for someone your age. The Bonneville has a 29in. Seat height.
I think you should definitely get a bonney. The bonney is a TRUE modern classic. I think it's really smart of you to start on a modern classic rather than a sport bike. I'm a 16 y/o male and I also was thinking about getting a Bonneville. If you do get one email me and we'll go riding. Huskyreport@gmail.com
- What's a good beginner sport bike? Is a 2008 honda cbr600rr a great choice? Or there's more? I started liking sport bikes like today and i learned alot of bikes names. Having a 1000cc is my dream in the future. I like bikes with great sounds and great body and style. Ducati panigale 1199 is probably the best looking one i have seen on the interent and it is my dream of having one
- What would you recommend as a beginner bike on my list? 200 cc dual sport (I will sometimes go on the dirt with it), a ninja 250, a ninja 300, a Honda cbr 300, or a cbr 500?
- What is a good beginner bike for a big guy? What would be a good touring, cruiser type starter bike for a big guy. I'm a 400 pound guy and am looking for a great starter/cruiser bike. I have looked at a honda shadow 650, or a vulcan 800, but am unsure of how powerful they actually are and if i can even handle it.
- Recommend sports bike for 5 foot 3 inch tall person? I will be 16 years of age soon, and currently race with a crf100 (although it is much too small at this point haha) and out and about I drive a crf230l with no trouble. I'm 5'3" and weigh 135lbs. I'm looking into getting a sports bike, and am considering a ninja 300, or a honda cb500f. The ninja 300 seems ideal, but I worry it is too small, and won't do much more than 130kmph. What would you recommend?
