It depends on driving conditions. It is not just based on mileage alone.
Country driving it'll be a lot more miles than city driving.
It will also go down faster if you have frequent start-ups
so there's no way anyone on here could give you a meaningful answer to this question.
Just keep an eye on it and when it gets to about 10% book an appointment to get it changed.
It's a simple calculation: If the maintenance call for 15,000 miles between oil change: %5 of 15K miles:
15,000: 5% = 750 miles.

- Got a car, no life and wanna drive away to somewhere new and start a new life but how? I'm older, my parents are getting elderly. My sibling is in rehab and my family onlycares about him. I have no friends, no kids and i'm tired of living in my state for 35 years. Seeing the same ppl, same buildings, ugh. I just bought a new honda and honestly i just wanna get in my car and go. I have no money tho and only have a associate degree. What should i do? Apply to a college out of state? Just leave?
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- 2007 Honda Element with 64k, owner's manual says 110k for valve adjustment. How can one size fit all without knowing how I drive? No issues with the car but some say if the engine is noisy it is time to adjust the valves, others say just the opposite, if the engine is quiet the valves are too tight and need adjusting. Any one want to give some opinions?
