My kicker on my honda z50 feels stuck, it won't kick over? What's wrong
Its been sitting for 4 moths, I brong it out in the cold, started it, let it run for10-25 mins, I took of to the nearest gas station, got some air in my tire, on the way it was cold an I did not have gloves on, so I stopped in a parking lot, turned it of, warmed my hands up, when I went to kick it on to go home, I won't kick, the kicker whont go down at all, Help ME Please?!
Kicker means Bendix gear on the starter?
Maybe the starter is bad? Bad battery? Bad starter solenoid?
- My Honda Eterno scooter does not start with a kick? My Honda Eterno scooter is 10 yrs in usage with no problems. Now a days sometimes it does not start with the kick. The kick seems to be loose, as if when you try to kick the scooter by pressing the clutch. This is an intermittent problem. But when it happens in the middle of the road, it causes a lot of inconvenience.
- 1970 Honda Z50 won't start? It's a pretty old bike, but I had it running great just a few weeks ago. Now it won't start for anything. I checked the spark plug, and it's sparking fine. The timing on the cams is fine, the piston moves correctly. I added a gas filter, and I only buy real gas(0% Ethanol). I took the carb off, cleaned it out, and it all seems fine to me. I just can't figure out what the heck is wrong with it.
- If I made a few mods to the frame of a 1972 Honda z50, can I classify it as a moped? The 1972 honda z50 came with a vin. So it had to be street legal. In Michigan the engine has to be under 100cc, automatic engine and not go over 30 mph to be a moped. I have seen some mods that people have done to the frame but I just wanted to make sure
- My Honda feels sluggish in 3rd gear, any My Honda Civic from 2008 feels like it has no power in 3rd gear even in high RPM's. 1st, 2nd, and 4th feel perfectly fine (i don't use 5th enough to notice it) and it seems like they have lots of power (relative to 3rd gear). When i go up hill i feel the car shift from 1st to 2nd and then to 3rd but then the RPM's fall as if the engine was under stress. Then it shifts back into 2nd to compensate. Any ideas? (Its a 2008 Honda Civic automatic, base model)
