Not getting a call back from job applying job as an auto consiltant at Honda Dealership?
I submitted my resume on friday evening now kts monday evening and no phone call. They say don't follow up bu phone call because the business might think youre too desperate which is not good. The pefered method is through email but i don't know who to email because the manager does not have an email address.
It might be because of your spelling or lack of it.

They just aren't that desperate for help.
They do not owe you a phone call for handing in your resume… Do you even fkin know how many resumes they get a day? Wow! You don't have a clue do you?
I would just wait and pray you get it, thats all you can do
It has only been one business day since they received your resume. They probably haven't even looked at the resumes yet. They will have a closing date in mind (it could be today or it could be next week) which is when they will stop taking new resumes and start going through the ones submitted. Only the top 5 or 10 people will get a call for an interview - you may or may not even make that cut. The fact that you really want the job is completely irrelevant, you need to let the process play out. What you can do is in a week, call the dealership and ask if the job has been filled (obviously if they answer yes, you did not get it).

If they are interested in talking to you after they read our resume they'll call you.
They're not going to get back to you on the weekend so give them a few more days and see if they call back. Employers usually don't act that fast unless they're desperate to hire people.
You can follow up with ONE phone call if they allow it. Don't call them f they don't want phone calls. If they don't get back to you in a few days then call them. Ask them if they've viewed your application and when they will start calling people for interviews.

I'm aware that most dealerships uses flat rate system and I do have some knowledge about cars in general. I work at a private auto shop as of currently. Oil change, mount and balance tire, brake fluid, transmission fluid, brake pad and rotors replacement. ETC. I pretty much do the basics stuff.
- Getting a refund from a dealership on a cancelled warranty? I bought a used car from metro Honda and added the extended warranty for $1600. I cancelled it the following day and was told I would receive a refund with in 2-3 billing cycles. It has been 3 months now and haven't seen a credit on my account. I plan to go down tomorrow to inquire about it and express my unhappiness. What can I do to ensure I will receive my refund/credit. I do have a copy of the cancellation form dated and signed.
