Are toyota corollas fun to drive or no?
So i want cheap car under $5,000. And i heard toyota corollas are fairly reliable and drive like honda civics. Is that true?
i kinda like how the 1998-2002 model looks and i found one for $3200 with 86k miles and year 2002.
Any vehicle can be enjoyable to drive… For vehicle info look at the edmunds.com site
2002 Corollas had oil consumption issues. Buy the 2003 and newer models. You can ask if the piston and piston rings were replaced as required by a Toyota recall.
Fun compared to what?
Not really. They were meant to be reliable on good on gas, not "fun".
The S is basically a basic Corolla with a Sport Appearance Pkg. In fact, before they called it the S trim, it was called a Sport Appearance Pkg, which was offered on CE and LE Corollas. Fun is not really a thing Corollas are known for but like any car, you can make it fun. Upgraded suspension, brakes wheels/tires, etc. However, none of this is cheap. I'm a Toyota guy and would always recommend a Corolla. However, if fun to drive is what you're looking for, a Civic would make a better option. They handle better, but the trade off is that they don't drive as smoothly as the Corolla. Not bad by any measure, but you'll notice the difference over bumps. They have a larger aftermarket, which is why you see so many modified Civics on the road. If you have $5K to spend, have you considered a 2005-2006 Corolla XRS?

Dude, just, go buy a prius or something
- Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
- Need fun facts about the book Uglie by Scott Westerfeld? I'm doing a book report and I need some kind of a "did you know" fact. It can be as simple as if the book takes place in California, a fact about California. Or if the main character drives a Honda, a fact about Hondas. I need something, anything!
- Is there a modern car as fun as the Honda S2000? I'm considering a 2005 S2000 with 36K miles on it. It runs great, but is still 10 years old and no warranty. Plus, it has some age-related damage. Is there a modern car that compares to it as far as size, ride, comfort, performance, reliability, etc… That doesn't cost and arm and a leg?
- Why do people mod civics and not corollas? They are very similar, in the same class, but never have i ever seen a modded corolla, i see modded civics, and hondas in general all the time tho
