Idle Ling? What the hell is that? Do you mean idling? If so, there could be dozens of causes. Seek assistance for a certified automotive mechanic.

Yes all I know is marking a/t sensor on the dash could that be the problem

Hi so the engine monitors itself via the ECM the issue has to be wear or needing a proper Honda service not a home service at all.

  • Honda magna random idle issue? So I just got a 1999 Honda magna 750. It starts and runs great, but it has this random issue when idling. So while idling it'll idle normal where I've set it, then for about 2 seconds the idle will jump up about 1-2k rpm then it'll go back to idling normal. It does this while in neutral as well as when I pull the clutch and let off the throttle and coast to a stop. What could be the cause of this? Abd what can I do to fix this?

  • Honda civic del sol rpm meter jumping at around 4k rpm? My 94 del sol when driven on the highway. After i hit a little over 4 rpm… The needle starts jumping from 4 to maybe 6 but no engine change or high rev. Just the rpm meter and my temperature guage hit cold and kinda bounce up and down at the bottom line. I recently changed my whole distributor for a used one if that help. Any answers would be appreciated.
