Honda Pilot Tire Change Help Want to Size Up?

If I currently have 235/70/16 's on my lifted Honda Pilot with stock rims, and i chose to put 245/75/16 's on the same rims which are 6.5 inches wide, would this drastically affect my SUV's maneuverability? Or would it be essentially the same? The difference in diameter between the stock tires and the tires i want (Boyfriend Goodrich All Terrains) is 1.4 inches.

I'm really just wondering if it will be drivable still essentially but please give me as much details as you see fit.

You must Really like adding mechanical rolling-resistance and drag to your ride. Do you really NEED a big dumb 4x4 anyway? No SUV manouevers in a car-like manner, and most can and will roll if you happen to make a rapid, reflexive evasive move as a response to a hazard in front of you. I never drive them, they are death-traps.

"Would this drastically affect my SUV's maneuverability?" Yes, quite a bit. 245/75/16 is not an acceptable alternative size for your Honda Pilot. In general practice when increasing tread section width you decrease the sidewall height aspect ratio. Your suggested tire size has a much taller sidewall which would significantly lessen your turning and cornering responsiveness. To be quite honest, your Honda would be all over the road if you used a tire with that tall of a sidewall.

Why do you want to do this? What are you trying to accomplish by changing the tire size? Do you even know?

All-Terrains on a Pilot - a vehicle never designed to be used off-road are ridiculous. People will only laugh at you.
