How would a Mazda 3 do in a high speed chase against a Honda Pilot?
The cars I'm comparing are a 2006 Mazda 3 I touring sedan 5 speed manual vs a 2016 Honda Pilot awd.
Hypothetically speaking, say a Mazda 3 driver was driving recklessly through traffic. As he is weaving brought traffic, he almost causes an accident to another driver in a Honda Pilot. The minute the Mazda 3 driver crosses the line, this enrages the Honda driver to chase the Mazda 3 driver. My question is if the Mazda 3 was in good condition, how would it do against an SUV like a Honda Pilot? Could it outrun it assuming both drivers are skilled? I mean mazdas are KNOWN for having VERY GOOD handling vehicles.
The Honda Pilot has a top speed (governor limited) of 114 mph. The Mazda 3 has a a governor-limited top speed of 118 mph. So it would win.
However, in the scenario you describe, both drivers would be arrested for reckless driving. And why do you waste so much time thinking about driving fast? Isn't there something more important you could be doing?
How fast is the Mazda 3 from 0-60 for the manual?
- Mazda reliability? Particularly 2013 mazda 3? I'm in the market for a new car and I was looking between 2013 Toyota corolla which is just boring and doesn't have as much features compared to Honda, or mazda. The Mazda 3 is at a good price 1000 dollars cheaper then the Toyota. So my question is, is Mazda reliable for that generation, or should I stick with a very well known reliable car maker?
- How would the Honda Element do against if the driver was in one of these cars? The cars I'm comparing it to is a 1998 Altima gxe(auto) and a 2006 Mazda 3i sedan(stick)? How would the element do against these cars in terms of handling, acceleration and speed? The Honda is a 4wd with an automatic
- Honda owners: is there a difference in top speed between 4 speed and 5 speed element? My car is an 03 auto awd ex. I'm just curious, what top speed before drag effect comes into Affect? Can it achieve over 100 mph? I've heard that it can do 1-10 but I'm not sure whether that's for the 5 speed or the automatic bc the extra gear makes a difference in my opinion.
- Freeway driving more difficult to drive speed limit than to speed? Driving on freeway slower its more difficult than driving faster is it because the car is lighter or higher rpms give you more control or what i drive a fwd stock Honda thanks it's a lot easier to drive at 80 than 60
