Sure, Car will be a bit higher You will get slightly better MPG but speedo will be sliightly off. And, replace all 4 don't mix a 235 with a 255 on same axle.

If the rims you have can take the 255 tire you would be fine, overall diameter of the wheel would be 29.05 inches as opposed to 28.95, that's a difference of only 0.3 %

you need to find out if your rims are capable of taking tires that are 2cm wider though

find out the rims width then google the widest tires you can have for that width of rim

  • Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.

But since i gave a lowered vehicle, would soze 16-17 give me a smoother ride through pot holes? I feel like the tiny wheels sink right in the holes. I don't mind going to original 15, but whatever is smoother is what i'm lookin for
