If you just recently bought this vehicle and there's no owner's manual, I can see why you would be asking this. Generally the odometer is relatively low, however it depends on the maintenance and driving conditions that it's experienced. That's why I'm of the opinion that it pays to use superior synthetics so maintenance is not as big a deal and offers protection at a reduced cost over time.
Well that's a start. At least you know a vehicle has a maintenance requirement!

- Should I buy a low mileage 2015ish Sequoia or a 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L? I can get a used sequioa with less than 40k miles (without warranty) for the same price as a new Honda EX-L with 100,000 powertrain warranty). I can't decide between the two… I need something that will sit 3 car seats minimum, 4 is even better. We do plan on having more kids. I know the Sequoia's a lot bigger, but I plan to use it as a commuting vehicle for at least a year and it seems like overkill. Also, it doesn't seem the Sequoia is as safe as the Pilot, I think?
- How to trust a cars mileage when unplugging the speed sensor stops the mileage from ticking? My speedometer just went out and I noticed the mileage stopped tacking. I did some research and found I just need to replace the sensor. Then after a few youtube videos, I realized that anyone could just unplug the sensor and drive 100k miles, plug it back in, and sell it for a good price. Is there a way to check the history of a cars driving without mileage add-on through its computer to avoid buying from a liar? I'm referring to 1998 honda civics.
