Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it?

I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well

When I was a young guy starting out as a low end car dealer, I bought a 8-9 year old Camry with 200k for $4000. 6 months later, I had it for sale for $3990 and it finally sold.

I thought it was a decent buy but then I had to try and find a buyer and there were none at $4950, at $4500, at $4250. Only when I sold it for a $10 loss did it sell.

So I wouldn't give $4000 for the 2004 Pilot. I learned my lesson.

10000-12000 mi a yr is average. A 13year old car should not have more than 156000 mi

Nope. Not just a nope, a hell nope.

No.

I just bought a 2004 Honda CR-V with 207k for $600. The inside is mint the outside has seen me dings. It drives great though, starts right up, no leaks, no smoke.

The verb is "sell", not "sale". Grammar matters.

Absolutely not. Even if everything worked, cars with that kind of mileage only get worse and worse.

Hi No as it is well past that date it was design for 8 years old is the absolute oldest one should buy a car. As for mileage that is 100k miles.

No price to high. Check Edmunds.com for true value

6 million dollars?

I wouldn't buy any car with 216,000 miles. Neither should you. Even if it is a Honda. Honda parts are not immune from wearing out.

NO… That is not smart… Keep looking for a car that has nearer to 100K… There are some car makes that have better deals and low monthly payments… Keep shopping…
