Should i trade in my honda 1993?

I have a bad oil leak which cost me to put oil in the engine ever day and a bad transmission. My car is over 300 thousands miles and i got about everything replaced in it. Is it time for me to call it quits with my 1st ever car?

Hell naw

Yes. Trading in would be a wise move. Haggle hard and walk away unless the deal is sweet.

Yes, it served you well. Retire it, donate it or sell it to a salvage yard.

You won't get anything at all for a 1993 Honda at any dealership, it's only worth a couple hundred bucks. Even if you find a place that will guarantee $1000 trade in, they won't come down on the price of the new one.

Of course not. Find out where the oil is leaking from, and a second hand tranny from a junkyard may only cost $100

It's salvage.

You got your money's worth. Get a new car that will make you happy for 200,000+ miles.

If you can get a good deal on the trade-in, go for it. 300k is 300k too much. But your car could prove attractive to a buyer interested in putting the work into it.

  • Should I Trade My 100xr Honda For A 660 Raptor? I'm looking to trade my 100xr Honda For A 660 Raptor. My 100xr doesn't have any problems and is well taken care of. The 660 Raptor 2002, the guy says that the gears won't catch properly or that it doesn't stay in gear. Does this sound like a fair trade? How much money do you think I might have to put into the raptor to get it functioning properly, if I do it myself?
