Should i trade my 2002 2door honda for a mustang gt?
I don't know what to do, i'm blank **thts why i need someone elses opinion.
So here's the reality. The mustang won't get as good of gas mileage.
But it's better everywhere else. It will be cheaper to maintain. It will be more fun to drive. It will be cheaper to repair should anything go wrong. It is more reliable. It is easier to modify (if you get into that sort of thing)
The downsides? Burn more gas. More expensive insurance. Nearly zero back seat space. Will wear through tires faster (especially the rears if you have a heavy foot).
If it's a solid car and you like the year/gen of mustang your trading it for, and want to get into upgrading mustangs, sure
If you can afford it, it'll be a lot of fun. I went from a 95 Nissan Sentra to my 07 Mustang GT, and it's a world of difference. It'll cost you a bit more in insurance and will use up plenty of gas, but I've enjoyed mine as a daily driver, and I imagine you would as well. It's easy to get in trouble with though, so be careful. It's a lot more powerful, and you may get a little extra attention from law enforcement just on general principle. Things like tinted windows and aftermarket exhaust may accentuate this depending on where you live, and some used Mustangs already have these modifications and more.
One thing to watch out for is the condition of the cars you look at. I had an 08 V6 for a little while, but interior blemishes drove me crazy after a while, in addition to very minor paint flaws here and there on the exterior. You will be much happier if it's clean inside and out as well as mechanically sound. You'll want it inspected so you don't get any expensive surprises after spending your money.
Be sure to test drive first to be 100% sure you really love it. The 2005-2010s are great, but if you can afford the newer 5.0s they would be tons of fun. Do some research on the available options, like Ford Sync, 3.55 gears, leather interior, etc and consider what would make the car more enjoyable on a daily basis so you know what to look for. Just don't break the bank, otherwise the car may just make things more stressful. You definitely don't want to be forced to sell a car you love because money gets tight. And if you find that the Mustang doesn't impress you after a test drive, that's cool too. You'll know to save your money and keep looking.
If you're into modding/tuning, the Mustang has great bang for the buck value there too. Tons of appearance mods you can do, some relatively cheap power mods, and lots of suspension options let you customize the car however you like. The Mustang aftermarket is huge, so it's fairly easy to make it exactly what you want if you find something you don't like about it.

The 660 Raptor 2002, the guy says that the gears won't catch properly or that it doesn't stay in gear. Does this sound like a fair trade? How much money do you think I might have to put into the raptor to get it functioning properly, if I do it myself?
